PCMNO Councillor Ernie Gatien

Retiring Region 4 PCMNO Councillor Ernie Gatien receives a Eagles feather from Historic Sault Ste. Marie Metis Council Chair Steve Gjos as a symbol of honor for the years of service Ernie has give to his community.

Ernie was served on the PCMNO as Region 4 Councillor since 2012 and has served on several PCMNO committees. He has been a strong advocate for advancing the interests and aspirations of MNO Citizens in Region 4 who have noted Ernie's generosity with his time and knowledge.

Ernie was the recipient of the 2015 Suzanne-Rochon Burnett Volunteer of the Year Award and also acted as an Assistant Captain of the Hunt for before being acclaimed to the PCMNO in 2012.

Ernie will retire from the PCMNO Council on Dec 31, 2019.
